We are very excited to announce that Andrew and Alexa got engaged last night. We are so happy to be that much closer to having Alexa be 'officially' a part of our family and look forward to having her as our daughter-in-law. This trip has been great but their engagement tops all of it!

Getting back to typical blog posting, we started the day walking to the Adriatic. The weather has been mild so Jack decided to fit in one more swim. We're only about a 25 minute walk to the sea. The beach was connected to a hotel. No beach property is private in Croatia so we stopped there since it was the closest.. The water was beautiful and they had a bathroom to change in. We did pass one woman who had taken off her suit and was somewhat covered by her towel so I guess the bathroom as a changing room is even optional at a hotel beach.

We stopped in town after the swim for lunch and then took a tour to the Lim Fjord. It was a 2 hour cruise and was very pleasant. We chatted with a gentleman from Germany, a couple from England, and a woman from New Zealand. We briefly discussed politics. As we experienced previously with this topic, people from other countries are hesitant to say anything until we share that we are anti-Trump. After that you can see them become visibly relieved. The man from England shared that his 6 year old is very amused by Trump since in England trump means fart. We thought that was interesting and wondered why that isn't more widely know. They shared that they were surprised that Trump had a following and we had to agree it was confusing. 

They were all very nice and so was the cruise. We haven't been to a fjord before and it was interesting seeing the rock formations on the sides of the sea. Some of the views included nude sunbathers taking advantage of the warm weather. It's funny that this doesn't surprise us any more. I will include a couple of pictures but they are from a distance.
