Today we started with a self-guided tour of Korcula Old City. We actually would have liked a tour by someone who knew what everything was but all we could find were private tours that cost more than we wanted to spend. We need to keep funds in reserve to cover the ketchup.

Korcula Old City is much smaller than Dubrovnik but very interesting and easier to navigate. Some of the churches and buildings were from the 1400s and are mixed in between apartments which are also very old. People live here and I imagine rent out to tourists. This would be a cool place to stay.

From Old City, we went to LaBanya Beach Resort. In season this seems to be a higher end place to spend the day. Since we are now in low season, we weren't charged and we had the bonus of witnessing a wedding on the beach. A storm seemed to surround us at certain points, by the bubble we brought with us from the Jersey Shore protected us. The skies were ominous at times but we stayed dry.

We are looking forward to a quiet evening in tonight. After another stop at the grocery store we are stocked up on provisions. The 2nd trip to the store was much easier to navigate. It's almost like we are locals!

View of Korcula from our parking space.Yes it was a long walk down and back up!

Wedding on the beach. She wore her bikini under her crocheted dress and they took a swim after the ceremony. Jack liked the dress.

From today's beach chairs-the water is so clear you can see the bottom even far out. The bottom is rock with some random plants growing in the rock.
We were by ourselves for a couple hours after we first arrived.
Water shot with a yacht you can rent for $70,000-$100,000 a week depending on the season. I was able to look it up on the internet but we decided to stick with the trip that we have planned.
