Todays journey was to Krka National Park in Skradin, Croatia. We drove to Skradin which took about 45 minutes along a scenic route. Skradin is and interesting town. It seemed like they hadn't completely recovered from the war. One building we past appeared to have been bombed and the one next to it had been on fire at one point. The end of town near the harbor was lovely and clearly geared towards tourists. There were multiple restaurants and shops.
We took a boat into the park which took 20 minutes. The water of Krka Lake is a gorgeous shade of green and the lake is surrounded by beautiful greenery. The park consists of numerous paths along the sides of waterfalls. We got our steps in today and climbed more steps then we have in a while. It was a lovely day temperature wise and sunny.
Croatia is famous for it's pancakes/crepes so we tried them for 'lunch'. They were tasty but I think I'll stick to gelato.
When we got back to Murter we checked out another beach we were curious about. It didn't live up to our usual beach so we went there instead. They are just down the street from each other. We had time for a quick swim in the Adriatic which was just what we needed after walking for hours. We acted like we were grown ups and had a cocktail and fried calamari before getting our take out pizza and getting home before dark.

We didn't see any cats so I thought swans and ducks would do.The swans were surprisingly nice.
Ending the day at our current favorite beach and beach bar. From what I could see everyone kept their clothes on while we were there.
Jack is happier than he looks.
Lush scenery makes me want to get up and go!
