Today is our last day in Ulcinj. we couldn't resist going back to Sunset Beach. I was right the first day thinking it was a private beach. Yesterday and today we paid $15 for two chairs and umbrella. They have a nice little restaurant where we had lunch each day looking at the Adriatic while drinking a couple of Montenegrin beers. The man who served us was very friendly and gracious. We tipped him what would have been considered moderately in the States and you would have thought we gave him 100 Euros. He shared that people did not tip much and 10% was considered very generous. He used to live in Kotor, our next stop, and gave us suggestions about where to eat and what to avoid. Too bad the walk there and back almost killed us each day because I can't think of a more beautiful place to spend the day. There were less than 10 people here today. I hope our next stops are as lovely and have fewer inclines and stairs.

This creature was walking around Old Town. I'm not sure what it is but am guessing maybe a hedgehog. It was about a foot long.

  1. Everything looks beautiful. I don't think I'd join back on that swim either.

  2. Looks great. I'd enter the water once. The stairs look like if I go down once that would be enough.
